How Raedhelm handles information about people who visit this website or get in touch. It is written to be read, and it is short because the site collects very little.

Who we are

Raedhelm is a trading name of Dirigo Investments Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12666385. Dirigo Investments Ltd is the data controller for this website and for the Connection Snapshot. For anything about your data, write to dataprotection@raedhelm.com.

What this website collects

If you contact us

Every contact link on this site is an email address. If you write to us we keep your message and our reply, so we can answer you and pick the conversation up later. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and running the business. We keep correspondence for as long as the relationship it belongs to is live, and review it after two years. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.

The Connection Snapshot

The Snapshot at diagnostic.raedhelm.com asks you questions about how your organization works and emails you a report.

What we collect. Your answers; your email address; your organization's name if you choose to type it; any text you type; when and how long the questionnaire took; and how long each page of your report is open, recorded against a random identifier that is not linked to you. We do not ask for your name, and we use no cookies and store nothing on your device. Our web server does not record your IP address.

Why, and on what basis. We rely on our legitimate interest to generate and send your report, to contact you about what it found, to improve the Snapshot, and to research Connection from anonymized results. Contact about your report is the stated price of the free Snapshot; you can object at any time and we will stop. Any other marketing needs your separate opt-in.

How long. Your email address and your organization's name are deleted within 24 months of completion, or sooner if you ask. We keep anonymized results, stripped of anything that identifies you or your organization, to research Connection across the industry. If you ask us to delete your data we delete all of it, including your answers. Postmark keeps sent messages for 45 days. Our encrypted backups are kept for 30 days, so deleted data leaves the backups within 30 days of deletion.

Security. Your email address is encrypted where it is stored, with the key held outside the database. Everything travels encrypted, and backups are encrypted before they leave our server. Only the Raedhelm team has access.

Using your report. Your report is licensed for use inside your organization.

Who else handles data, and where

All three are in the United States and are certified under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is the UK's approved basis for those transfers. We host the Snapshot on our own server and use no other service that sees personal data.

Your rights, and complaints

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to our processing, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email dataprotection@raedhelm.com from the address you used with us, or tell us which address that was, and say what you want. We acknowledge within 2 working days and complete within 10 working days. The law allows a month; if a request is unusually complex we will tell you within the 10 days and say when.

Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please complain to us first at dataprotection@raedhelm.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days, look into it, and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU.
